10 Days from Tangier to Chefchaouen Merzouga

Day 01: Tangier – Chefchaouen

During the first day of your trip we will meet at the port and drive through the mountains of the Rif and Tetoun city to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains until you reach one of the impressive Chefchaouan villages at the foot of the Rif mountains Chefchaouen Medina had a Spanish-style plaza surrounded by many funky and craft shops, rooftop restaurants and cafes where you could spend the night in a pleasant place to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of nature.

Day 02: Chefchaouen Chefchaouen –

Enjoy a panoramic view of Chefchaouen as you can enjoy a breakfast with fresh fruits, jams and natural juices from the terrace of the hotel. After breakfast, explore and excursion Chefchaouen, the blue-washed city (medina) on foot along with your guide, who will share stories of Chefchaouen is history.

Start the visit with the museum of the kasbah of the medina. The kasbah of Chefchaouen belongs to the early eighteenth century, and was built by the legendary ruler Moulay Ismail. It is quite simple, without architectural surprises however it is surrounded by gardens inside and outside. Within the Kasbah, you can visit the ethnographic museum that contains ancient weapons, musical instruments and photographs of the old city.

After exploring the medina, have lunch at one of the local restaurants. And in the afternoon we return to your Riad.

Day 03: Chefchaouen – Midelt

On the way to Midelt we will go back in time until the 3rd century visiting the most important archaeological site in Morocco Volubilis, which includes the best preserved Roman ruins in this part of North Africa. So it is not by chance this Roman ruins in 1997 were listed as UNESCO World Heritage. A 45 minute guided tour is scheduled here.

From volubilis we continue our way to Meknes, which was named after a Berber tribe that was known as medieval Miknasa in the north of African springs. Meknes was the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail (1672-1727). He built in ingeniously designed barns, really fascinating small window architecture, huge walls where he used to store grain and hay to feed his 15,000 horses not food for humans. We continue our way through Midelt Azrou and the Middle Atlas, night in Midelt

Day 04: Fez – Midelt – Merzouga

Midelt we drive to the magnificent Gorges of Ziz carved through the volcanic rock, you will see the views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the landscape changes to reveal desert tracks as you approach the town of Errachidia . After lunch, we will continue our journey through the valley of Ziz Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. After a glass of mint tea, we leave our luggage in a room then take the camels in a Berber camp in the middle of the sad dunes of Erg Chebbi. 20 km long and 5 km wide, it is also known for the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is a unique and diverse environment. The camel ride takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the hotel to the camp where we continue the spirit of the Berber nomadic lifestyle. You have to set up the Berber tents with restaurant and additional kitchen with dunes naturally to provide basic services. The tents are well equipped and offer mattresses, blankets and cushions. After dinner we gather around the fire and enjoy the desert night, perhaps with the traditional Berber drums.

Day 05: Merzouga – Merzouga

A full day in the Sahara desert awaits you! You will be in another magnificent Berber village of the Sahara and listen to Gnaoua music in an African village. Continue through to see the nomads of the desert in their tents. In the afternoon you will be back to your hotel.

Día 06: Merzouga – Gargantas de Todra – dades

después del desayuno, como usted comienza su viaje hacia Erfoud, establecido detrás de las montañas del Gran Atlas en la ruta a las Gargantas de Todra pasando por el pueblo nómade por el camino. Podrá dar un paseo en el desvio de Todra (985 pies de altura). Los pintorescos valles fluviales para hacer un hermoso viaje hacia el sudeste de Marruecos. Día 07: Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

después del desayuno, comienza su jornada de viaje hacia Ouarzazate a través del Alto Atlas. Tomar off road, a unos 25kms en su 4×4, descubrirá la vida nómada en las cuevas antes de llegar en el Centro Marroquí de rosas y rosa de productos. Continúe su viaje a través de la carretera de Mil Kasbahs. Usted pasará por la Skoura palm oasis justo antes de llegar a Ouarzazate. Aquí podrá visitar el sitio del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO, la Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. En típico marroquí de moda, los verdaderos tesoros que deben ser investigadas y descubierto… generalmente fuera del camino trillado. En la actualidad, esta configuración ha sido utilizado por más películas que en cualquier otro lugar en Marruecos, incluyendo Lawrence de Arabia, Jesús de Nazaret, y recientemente el gladiador. Por la tarde, usted será llevado de vuelta a su hotel/riad.

Día 08: Marrakech – Marrakech

After desayuno en el riad , puede comenzar a explorar Marrakech ” la ciudad roja de Marruecos”. Nos aseguraremos de que usted vea los más importantes sitios de interés histórico y cultural, incluyendo los jardines de Majorelle, la torre Koutoubia, las Tumbas Saadianas, el Bahia Palacel. Después del almuerzo en un restaurante cerca de la plaza, usted caminará a través de los zocos y ver cientos de artesanías. En la tarde, lo recogeremos de nuevo a su Riad.

Día 09: Marrakech – Marrakech

en este día usted tendrá algún tiempo libre para preguntarse por sí mismo las otras partes de la ciudad .

Día 10: Marrakech al Aeropuerto

te deje en el aeropuerto. Fin de nuestros servicios.
