Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora Desert
Departure from Marrakech at 8 o’clock in the morning in a private 4 × 4 vehicle, in the direction of the High Atlas, crossing the mountain pass of Tizi’n Tichka that passes through many Berber villages. Stop at an Argan oil cooperative, where you can buy cosmetic products and at the same time you can taste a mint tea with a typical dish of the area.
Continue the route through a landscape of volcanic mountains, until you reach Agdz, where you stop to eat and rest, with the possibility of visiting the Kasbah Tamnougalt.
The route is taken back by the Draa Valley, a route full of freshness at the gates of the Sahara thanks to the Draa River, where its irrigation canals carry the water to the shore, becoming a chain of oases full of palm groves and orchards. Ancient route of the caravans of the desert, today formed by 4 × 4 looking for adventure.
Arrival in Zagora, where the caravan of camels awaits you to go to the desert camp. Tonight you sleep in jaimas.
Accommodation in tents, dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: Desert of Zagora – Marrakech
Departure from the desert towards Marrakech by the same route as the previous day, since it is the only way to our destination. Guided visit to the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco and the setting for many Holiwwod films.
