Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt:
After breakfast we went to Midelt by Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco. We will arrive at the forest of Azrou where we will stop to enjoy watching the monkeys as they climb the cedars. Then we will continue through the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Arrival in Midelt and accommodation in Hotel.
Day 2: Midelt – The Ziz Valley – Merzouga:
We will continue through the valley of Ziz and its gorges and Errachidia, continue to the city of Erfoud, famous for being the capital of fossils. Lledaga Merzouga, the day’s end will be dedicated to appreciate the peace of the desert. Accommodation in a hostel near the dunes.
Day 3: The Erg Chebbi – Merzouga Dunes:
This will be a stage where after breakfast, we will go through another of the tracks used in the ‘Rally Paris-Dakar’, visiting nomads of the desert with whom we will have tea and see the oasis where some movies were filmed as ‘Sahara’, starring by Penélope Cruz. We will visit the town of ‘los negros’, named for the slave trade they brought from the Sudan. And after eating we will change the 4 × 4 traction to the animal traction. The dromedaries will take us to the desert of dunes to contemplate an unforgettable sunset. This night will be special, we will sleep in the dunes in nomad tents (Jaimas), as the Berbers do. Here we will enjoy a Berber dinner, music and a starry sky like you have never seen before. Dinner and accommodation in the unforgettable Haima.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – The Todgha Gorges:
We woke up before dawn to watch the sunrise. Return in dromedary to the lodge. Shower and breakfast. and we continue our route to Las throats via Rissani where you will stop a bit to visit its traditional Souk which is considered the largest in all the South of Morocco, we will continue towards the Gorges of Todra. Dinner and overnight at a Hotel in the middle of the Gorges.
Day 5: The Gorges of Todgha – The Dades Valley – Ouarzazate: –
We will have breakfast and we will walk a bit between the Gorges before continuing towards the Valley of the Dades and the Valley of Roses, that of the Oasis of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate and accommodation in Riyadh.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ksar Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech:
The trip is a succession of strong points. Today’s day is another one of them. The 200 km separating Ouarzazate from Marrakech runs through the High Atlas. The road must be traveled slowly, for its beauty and because it is a mountain pass that crosses the Atlas at almost 2,300m. To round off the spectacular day, we will follow the old caravan route that linked the two cities through the Ounila Valley, where kasbahs are built in caves and will also take us to Telouet. Finally, arrival in Marrakech. Transfer to your accommodation, end of our services.
