7 Days from Casablanca Imperial Cities

Spend a week exploring our many imperial cities – Casablanca, Rabat, Fez and Marrakech. Impressive ruins, beautiful medersas, buzzing medinas … all await you on this tour! On your way from city to city we will take the opportunity to visit smaller local villages and admire the beautiful countryside of Morocco. This itinerary is a suggestion; if you want to do a variation, please let us know, we are happy to work with you!

We will welcome you wherever you are arriving from (airport, train, etc), or collect you from your hotel in Casablanca if you are already in the city.

From here we will arrange for a sightseeing tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. This tour will include an exterior and interior tour of the Hassan II Great Mosque, a visit to the Place Mohammed V, the United Nations Square, and the surroundings of the Royal Palace before strolling along the Ain Diab corniche.

You will enjoy and independent lunch in a restaurant of your choice (suggestions will be provided) and when you are done we will depart to nearby Rabat.

Upon arrival in Rabat, we will visit the splendid Mohamed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and Place des Oudaya. Once you have seen all desired sites, we will check you in at the hotel or Riad where you will enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 2: Rabat / Meknes / Fez

After breakfast, we leave for Fez with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred  town of Moulay Idriss I, the burial town of the founder of the first Moroccan kingdom.

Independent lunch and then departure to Meknes which is known as “the Moroccan Versailles”. This town was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail. Highlights will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old medina.

From here we continue to Fez where we will get you situated in your hotel or Riad, and provide dinner in the local restaurant.

Highlights will include the Medieval Medina, the Medersas, the El Qaraouiyyin Mosque, the tanneries and the beautiful Nejjarine fountain.

After lunch, we will visit the Arabian House to observe various craftsmen performing their work reminiscent of ancient techniques.
