Overnight Camel Trip and Desert Camping
Join us for an overnight camel trek adventure into the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. You will ride by camel to stay the night in our desert camp. During this trip you will see both the sunset and sunrise over the dunes, enjoy dinner and breakfast at our desert camp, and listen to the sound of Berber music played around a campfire under the stars at night.
The camel ride takes about 90 minutes each way. Upon arrival at the tents you will be served a warm mint tea to take while enjoying the view of the dunes. After this we will climb a nearby dune to watch the sunset. Dinner is served in the evening followed by live music. You will experience a nighttime sky that is unlike what you see at home – the brightest stars will light the sky.
In the morning we wake up to watch the sunrise over the dunes, take breakfast, and then ride by camel back to the hotel. Once at the hotel you will have the opportunity to shower and change if you so wish.
Two Night Desert Camping by Camel
Join us for an overnight camel trek adventure into the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. Leaving from Merzouga, you will ride by camel to stay the night in our desert camp. During this trip you will see both the sunset and sunrise over the dunes, enjoy dinner and breakfast at our desert camp, and listen to the sound of Berber music played around a campfire under the stars at night.

After this we will climb a nearby dune to watch the sunset. Dinner is served in the evening followed by live music. In the morning we wake up for breakfast in the camp and then journey by camel to visit a Nomad family home. Here you can meet the local people and join them for a lunch experience. In the afternoon we will travel by camel to discover another section of the Sahara where you’ll be spending the night in a luxury camp (tent with private bathroom). Once settled in we’ll serve dinner and again enjoy some local music and stars.
The next morning we will wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then head back to the hotel on camel. Once there you’ll have the option of showering and changing in a room there, if you so wish.
