Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
We depart early from Marrakech and begin our journey across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. Along the way, we stop for panoramic views of traditional Berber villages built into the mountains.
Ait Ben Haddou – A Living UNESCO Treasure
We visit the historic Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized for its traditional earthen architecture and cinematic fame. Walking through its ancient alleys reveals centuries of Moroccan history and culture.
Ouarzazate – Gateway to the Sahara
We continue through Ouarzazate, known for its impressive kasbahs and desert surroundings. From here, we travel through the Valley of Roses and reach the dramatic landscapes of Dades Valley, where we spend the night in a comfortable hotel surrounded by red rock formations and palm groves.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
