Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Upon arrival in Marrakech, we transfer to your riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we may begin exploring the vibrant Medina and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where storytellers, musicians, and street performers create a lively atmosphere.

Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

We depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Scenic stops allow us to admire panoramic mountain views and traditional Berber villages.

Ait Ben Haddou – UNESCO World Heritage Site

We explore Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages, known for its remarkable earthen architecture and historic caravan routes.

We continue to Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the Sahara, where we spend the night.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley

After breakfast, we visit the lush Skoura palm grove and continue through the Valley of Roses. We arrive in Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations and winding mountain roads.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

We visit the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create a spectacular canyon landscape.

Continuing through Erfoud, we reach Merzouga, located at the edge of the Sahara near the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight stay near the dunes.

Day 5: Full Desert Exploration – Camel Trek – Desert Camp

This day is dedicated to discovering the Sahara region.

We visit nomadic families and the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music. In the late afternoon, we begin our camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Watching the sunset from the top of the dunes is an unforgettable highlight.

We spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying dinner, Berber music, and a sky filled with stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

We wake early to enjoy a breathtaking Sahara sunrise before returning by camel to Merzouga.

After breakfast, we visit Rissani’s traditional market and continue through the vast Draa Valley, lined with palm groves and ancient kasbahs.

We overnight in Ouarzazate or the Draa Valley region.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

We return to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again. Scenic stops allow us to admire the spectacular landscapes before arriving in Marrakech for the night.

Day 8: Marrakech City Tour or Departure

On our final day, we explore Marrakech’s historical highlights, including:

Transfer to the airport depending on your departure time.
