We depart early from Fes and begin our journey south toward the desert.

Our first stop is Ifrane, a charming mountain town known for its alpine-style architecture and clean streets. Its European atmosphere offers a unique contrast to the landscapes that follow.

Middle Atlas Cedar Forest

We continue through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where Barbary macaques are often seen among ancient trees. The fresh mountain air and scenic surroundings create a peaceful beginning to our journey.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We wake early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise before returning by camel to Merzouga.

After breakfast, we begin our journey toward the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering limestone cliffs rise dramatically above a narrow riverbed. We enjoy a walk through the gorge and admire its impressive natural beauty.

We continue toward the scenic Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and winding mountain roads.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, we travel toward Ouarzazate and visit the historic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its traditional earthen architecture and cinematic heritage.

We then cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views along the way.
