Our first stop is Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town known for its clean streets and European-inspired architecture. Its cool mountain climate offers a refreshing start to our desert adventure.

Cedar Forest of the Middle Atlas

We continue through the Middle Atlas cedar forests, home to Barbary macaques and ancient trees. The lush green landscape contrasts beautifully with the desert scenery that lies ahead.

Ziz Valley – A Spectacular Oasis

Descending toward the south, we reach the magnificent Ziz Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves and stunning panoramic viewpoints.

Arrival in Merzouga – Camel Trek into Erg Chebbi

By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga village, located at the edge of the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 2: Full Desert Exploration – Nomads – Khamlia – Oasis Visit

We wake early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4.

After breakfast, we begin our scenic return to Fes. We travel through the beautiful Ziz Valley and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains once more.
