We depart from Fez and begin our scenic journey south toward the Sahara.

Our first stop is Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture and cool mountain climate. Its European-inspired charm offers a unique contrast to the desert landscapes ahead.

Middle Atlas Cedar Forest

We continue through cedar forests, home to Barbary macaques and ancient trees. The lush scenery gradually transforms as we descend toward the desert.

Ziz Valley – A Stunning Oasis

We pass through the magnificent Ziz Valley, famous for its expansive palm groves and panoramic viewpoints.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, located near the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Exploration

We wake early to experience a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga by camel.

After breakfast, we begin our journey toward Marrakech, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
